A letter from “Jigger”
“I like to play with mommy and daddy and also like to play with children, friends and other dogs. I like to eat Puppy Chow, bananas, pears, blue berries, milk bones, pig ears and beef hearts. I also like to eat ice cubes because I'm teething. My Aunty Vicki showed me that.
I like to go for walks, take baths, swimming, sunning, visit friends, play in the yard, lay on the deck, go for car rides and give kisses. Mommy sometimes calls me a 'clown' because I act silly and I make her and daddy laugh. I'm very loyal, curious, playful and affectionate.
I also sleep a lot because I'm a puppy and growing. I used to nap on Mommy's lap with my blanket, but the chair is too small for the both of us because I'm growing, so I either nap on the couch beside daddy, sleep by myself on my own couch, or snuggle on Mommy's foot with my blanket.
You see I have a busy life (even though I'm a puppy) and have to protect Mommy and Daddy, see what's cooking, what's on T.V., who's at the door, where's my toys, where's my chewie, where's my leash, gimme Daddy's sock, feed me, I need a bath, I need to go pee, pay attention to me, pet me and most of all need a nap. So in closing, I hope to see you some day, I would really like to meet you. By the way, I weigh 68 lbs and I'm 5 months old. I stand at the shoulder 22" and 26" at the mid section.”
