“Hi there, just wanted to drop a few lines to thank-you Rick for all your help and knowledge with our girl from Ridgeport Mastiffs. Scott and I live in Thunder Bay ON. After talking to, and emailing countless mastiff breeders we were lucky enough to find Rick, our search was over. You see Scott and I already had a mastiff girl her name is McCartney. When we were first looking for a Mastiff we didnt realize how important it was to make sure you purchase these dogs from a repituble breeder, and low and behold our girl isnt as healthy as she should be (hips, elbows etc). That's why we knew we owed it to this breed to do our hours of research on them and their health, along with the people breeding them. To say Rick was a god-sent would be an understatement. I say that because even though McCartney never came from Ridgeport, Rick helped us out with her like she was one of his own. For that we will be forever indebt to him. Rick we thank-you from the bottom of our hearts. We recieved our girl Mavis from Rick May '10. Mavis is now almost 10months old, approx 125lbs. Mavis loves life. She is the happiest, healthiest, most vivacious girl I have ever seen. When she isnt following McCartney around the house, Mavis is by my side whether its laying at my feet while i'm doing the dishes or trying to curl-up beside me incognito on the loveseat. We love our girls, they are our children. Rick's knowledge is unsurpassed an ambassador to the English Mastiff. Thank-you Dani”

Boss
“Hi this is Sarah, Chad & Tyran and we live in Waswanipi, Quebec. Boss joined our family August 2010. He is now 6 1/2 mths old 120lbs & 28inchs in height.
Boss is the most loving, adorable, smart, affectionate puppy and we love him more and more everyday! (drool and all)
He is everything we could have hoped for and has developed a special relationship with every member of our family.

Millie
“I purchased a female puppy from Ridgeport Mastiffs in Aug. of 2010. Rick Beeman was very helpful in choosing the right puppy. Millie (our puppy) has been so easy to train. She was potty trained, and knew sit, stay, heel, and come before she was sixteen weeks old. All of her training was done by my eight year old daughter (Sam). Millie is very calm and gentle. She is a pleasure to have in our home.
Our experience with Ridgeport Mastiffs has been great right from the start. Rick handled the shipping and registration papers. He was always very helpful if we had questions or concerns. Rick also checks in with us regularly to see how Millie is doing. During my first conversation with Rick he asked what I was looking for in a pup. I said a best friend for my daughter. That is EXACTLY what I got! THANKS AGAIN!”

“Hi, my name is Bridget Barron and I live in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. I'm originally from East St. Paul, Winnipeg, Manitoba. I just like to write a letter in appreciation to Rick Beeman from Emerson, Manitoba. Mr. Beeman has been a wonderful advisor as a breeder in guiding knowledge of raising English Mastiffs.
We purchased a Black Brindle Fawn male puppy, who we call Jigger. Jigger was 29 lbs. when we got him. He came home with us on Sunday, June 15th 2008 and he is a very beautiful boy, a little attitude, very playful, curious, very loyal, happy, sociable with people and kids and most of all a good temperment. I'm very happy that I found Rick Beeman. He has be very helpful in every way. For example: how and what to feed Jigger, amount and brand of food, when his next shots are, etc.
Rick to me is more than a breeder. We look to him as a friend because he would call and check to see how the progress is going on Jigger, or if their are any problems he can help us with, and we're pretty impressed at the time and caring of Jigger well being of his new owners, eg: sending Emails and pictures.

Jigger was born Tuesday March 18th, 2008. Jigger is 5 months old, stands 22" at the the shoulder and weighs 68 lbs (Tuesday Aug. 26, 2008). We hope to keep our friendship with Rick in the future, and we're glad to have met Rick, Molly, Marley, Milo and Magnus. It's been an experience for me and Jigger and I recommend him to be a very good breeder.”

Bravun
Hi my name is Sam Bell and I live in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, on the shores of Gerogian Bay. My family and I purchased a BEAUTIFUL apricot brindle female from Rick back in June 2008. My family has been so thrilled with her and amazed at how much she has added to our family. We named our new addition Bravun. Rick has been a 1000 times more of a breeder than I could have ever imagined. He has been extremely open and honest when ever I needed any information and help. He also shows how much he cares when he calls periodically to check in and to see how things are going. I did my reseach on the breed prior to getting one of these majestic animals and Rick's are top notch! To any that ask about mastiffs and where to get one I would highly recommend that they go to Rick Beeman.

We are so happy to have Matt & Murphy with us. They have brought us so much joy in our family. Rick has been such a huge help getting us used to the Mastiff breed. Tinkerbelle
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful addition to our family. Tinkerbelle has been just an awesome pup with a wonderful personality. She is loving, affectionate and lots of fun to play with and train.
We have always had a dog but never a Mastiff and after having Tinkerbelle with us I don't think that I would ever not have one. I have found her to be loyal, great with the kids and very social with other dogs and people that we have met on our walks. In fact she seems put out if people don't stop to say hi to her or give her a pat.
Thanks to you Rick for calling and checking up on Tinkerbelle. Making sure that she is doing well and happy in her new home. It takes a different kind of person to be that involved after the pup has gone on to her new home. To me it shows your dedication to making sure that your puppies go to the right home not just any home. The follow up that you do with them is awesome and appreciated. I know that I could call you anytime to ask a question or just to fill you in on her latest progress. I will continue to send you pictures so that you can see for yourself how well she is doing and how much she is loved.
